After Zapper: where to track a DeFi portfolio now

Zapper went offline on 3 August 2026: the site, the mobile apps and the API, all at once, a month after co-founder Seb Audet announced an orderly wind-down on 8 July. For seven years it was the page many people opened to see a DeFi portfolio as one number. If that was you, the bundles are gone, the history is gone, and the question is where to paste the addresses now.

This is a guide to that move, not a ranking. It sorts the replacements by what you actually used Zapper for, says what each one reads and what it does not, and gives prices as stated on each site on 3 September 2026. TrueHold is one of the options and is described to the same standard as the rest, including its gaps.

What you are replacing

Zapper did three things: it read any address across EVM chains and decoded DeFi positions into something readable; it let you bundle several addresses into one view; and it kept a history you could scroll. Every tool below does the first. Most do the second. None can give you back the third: history has to be rebuilt from the chain, and each tracker does that from the day you add the address, some deeper than others.

One thing to write down before anything else: the list of addresses your bundles held. Zapper never had an export, and the app is no longer there to remind you. Your wallet apps, hardware wallet accounts and old transaction emails are where they live now.

If Zapper was your EVM position decoder

DeBank is the closest like-for-like replacement: a portfolio tracker for Ethereum and EVM chains with the widest protocol coverage in the category, the one most likely to recognise the obscure position that Zapper also recognised. If you also hold Solana, exchanges or perps

This is where Zapper was already thin, and where the replacements split. Which chains do you actually hold? EVM only points to DeBank; EVM plus Solana to Zerion, TrueHold or CoinStats; Solana only to Jupiter. Do exchanges belong in the same number?
