Manual accounts and CSV import
Record buys, sells and transfers by hand for a venue TrueHold cannot read, or import them from a CSV, and the account joins the total like any other.
Not every venue issues API keys, and not every holding lives on a chain. A manual account holds transactions you enter yourself, valued at market prices like everything else.
Steps
- 01Create a manual account and give it a name.
- 02Add each buy, sell or transfer with its date, amount and price. Open a row later to edit or remove it.
- 03To bring in many rows at once, use the CSV import dialog and map the columns of your file.
Holdings in a manual account are valued at 00:00 UTC every day from your transactions, so history builds as soon as there are entries.

Connect an exchange with a read-only API key
Create a read-only key on the exchange, paste it into TrueHold, and balances, positions and history appear. The key is validated before it is stored.
Export your data
Analytics cards export to CSV directly from the browser; nothing about the rows is sent anywhere. Tax-ready exports are the Premium feature.
