On-chain perp venues have one property that makes tracking almost free: the account is an address, and the address is public. Positions, fills, funding payments and liquidation prices on Hyperliquid or Lighter can be read by anyone who has the string, without a key and without connecting a wallet. The problem is not access but fragmentation: a trader with a book on two venues and a spot bag on an exchange has three dashboards and no total. This list sorts the tools that fix that by the job you are trying to do. Every entry comes from the project’s own site or documentation as read on 16 September 2026, prices as stated that day; where a site does not state a price, the entry says so. Nothing here is sponsored. TrueHold is on the list because it does one of these jobs, and its entry is written to the same standard as the others, including what it does not read.

Your own book across venues

TrueHold reads a Hyperliquid or Lighter account from the address alone and keeps it in the same book as everything else you hold: spot wallets by address, exchange accounts through read-only keys, DeFi positions decoded by protocol, Polymarket by address. Each position shows entry, mark, size, liquidation distance and funding accrued; the total is one number across venues. Free to track. What it does not do: it reads Hyperliquid and Lighter only, not dYdX or GMX, and it does not push alerts. The Hyperliquid and Lighter guides walk through the setup.

CoinStats added Lighter alongside Hyperliquid and Aster: link the account from the Portfolios screen and it shows open positions with PnL, active orders and trade history next to the 300-plus exchanges and wallets it already covers. The free plan holds ten portfolios; paid plans add more, with prices on the site. It is the choice when a mobile app matters more than reading depth.

Look up any address

Dexly Explorer is the quickest read of a Hyperliquid wallet: paste any 0x address or ENS name and see live positions, equity, PnL, trade history, funding payments and allocation, free and with no account or wallet connection. It is built for Hyperliquid perps only, which is exactly why it is faster than the general trackers for this one question.

HypurrScan is the community explorer for HyperCore: an address page shows holdings, positions and history, and the site tracks deploy auctions, TWAP orders, protocol fees and the unstaking queue besides. Free. The official explorer is the reference when two tools disagree.

LighterPulse does the same job for Lighter, where the tooling is a year younger: a leaderboard of every account ranked by PnL, return and volume, a block explorer, funding compared across venues, and an address page with positions, funding cost and distance to liquidation repriced live. No wallet connection, no signature, no account; the code is open source under MIT. LighterDash is an open-source dashboard in the same spirit, with an account explorer, a watchlist and whale-trade alerts, running on Lighter’s public endpoints without an API key.

Trader research and copy trading

HyperTracker follows more than 1.6 million Hyperliquid wallets: a smart-money feed, per-position unrealised PnL and liquidation distance for your own account, and alerts when any tracked wallet opens, adds, reduces or closes. The dashboard is free; the API plans start at $179 a month.

Copin indexes traders across dozens of perp DEXs including Hyperliquid, GMX, dYdX and Kwenta, filters them by win rate, PnL, drawdown and frequency, and offers copy trading; the explorer half is a quick way to study how one address trades without mirroring anyone. Copying takes 0.05 percent of trade size on top of venue fees. Hyperdash grew from a dashboard into a terminal after joining pvp.trade: liquidation heatmaps on the chart, wallet cohorts by PnL and account size, whale alerts, copy trading with its own score, and execution in the same window. The dashboard is free; trades carry fees. Buildix is orderflow first, with a feed of the 200 most profitable traders and a wallet explorer across 530-plus pairs; the screener is free and paid tiers run from $9 to $79 a month.

The market, not the trader

CoinGlass brings its derivatives toolkit to Hyperliquid: long and short trader ratios, whale activity with a liquidation map, and wallet analysis with per-user positions and unrealised PnL. Market pages are free; Pro plans start at $29 a month. DefiLlama is the neutral outside view of perp volume and TVL per venue, free, methodology on the page. ASXN HyperScreener is the free dashboard Hyperliquid’s own docs call the most comprehensive for perps and order-book data. Liquid Terminal covers markets, vaults, validators and wallets for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, free forever by its charter and open source, with a Telegram bot for fills, liquidations and vault moves.

Being told, not looking

Otomato is the alert layer: paste a public address and get notified on liquidation risk, yield changes and security incidents across 22-plus protocols including Hyperliquid, on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, HyperEVM and other EVM chains. Three wallets free, read-only by design. For Hyperliquid wallets specifically, HyperTracker and Liquid Terminal both push alerts as well. Note what the trackers above do not do: TrueHold shows the state, it does not wake you up; pair it with one of these.

Build your own

Both venues publish the data. Hyperliquid’s info API is free and needs no authentication; Lighter’s API exposes positions by account. Every tool on this page is a view over those two endpoints, which is also why numbers agree across them more often than they do across centralized exchanges.

What no tracker does

None of them nets risk across venues for you. A long on Hyperliquid and a short on Lighter in the same asset are two positions in every tool, including ours, and the hedge exists only in your head. Funding is defined differently venue by venue, so an accrued number is comparable only within one venue; the perp DEX tracker guide covers the definitions worth checking. And a liquidation price is a snapshot. The venue moves it as margin changes, and a tracker that refreshes every few minutes is a few minutes behind.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free Hyperliquid portfolio tracker?

Yes, several. Dexly Explorer, HypurrScan and the official explorer read any address for free; TrueHold tracks your own account free next to your other venues; HyperTracker’s dashboard is free.

Is there a Lighter tracker?

Yes. LighterPulse and LighterDash read any Lighter account from its address; TrueHold and CoinStats track your own Lighter positions in a portfolio total.

Do I need an API key to track perp DEX positions?

No. On Hyperliquid and Lighter the account is a public address, and every tracker on this list reads it without keys. API keys are for centralized exchanges, and there they should be read-only.

Does TrueHold read dYdX or GMX?

No. TrueHold reads Hyperliquid and Lighter. For other venues use their own explorers or Copin’s multi-venue explorer.
